Personal reflection

personal reflection from Abdulla Al Bakri (2012-CIQ)

To improve my English language skills from all area’s such as writing, speaking and reading, I had to take the CLA language course. It helped me a lot while doing my assignments because I found it easier to use the vocabulary words in appropriate sentences.

Mr. Gregory Vrhovnik was our teacher. He is one of the best teachers in HCT and he has a special way in delivering ideas to the students. To me, Vrhovnik motivated me a lot on improving my skills and especially interpreting my writing skills to be a better writer in the future.

There are many learning experiences that I experienced during my time in the CLA course. The most helpful activity that benefited me was the in class summaries. This activity supported me to achieve better grades and think outside the box and exceed my basic English levels. In addition to this activity, the online vocabulary quiz was advantageous to me personally because I learned a lot of new words that are necessary in speaking the language.

Personally, as I said previously, the course was very helpful and full of enjoyment through learning a second language. After this course I fell more confident in myself and comfortable while speaking to others without hesitation. I can now easily use correct grammatical sentences that are clear and perfect.

Finally, I would like to thank my teacher Vrhovnik as well as my classmates because they helped me a lot during this semester where we shared ideas and information, discussed sentences and structures and pair edited our work together.

Masdar responsibility is achieving emirate`s expectations, They have two renewable plant being built in Island with 100mw, But both plants are not enough. You can build 300mw farms near Saudi border.  Wind energy is more challenging to grow in the GCC of solar energy, and in UAE, wind power is limited because of the nature of wind.
